Athletics
Welcome to GMS athletics! Many exciting opportunities are available for all students. The administration, coaches and support staff look forward to helping your child continue their athletic careers.
We hope that your child enjoys the fun and excitement that comes from being part of a successful program. We have eight extra-curricular activities that allow for active participation.
Participation Expectations
GMS is committed to establishing an opportunity for all student athletes to participate in various athletic programs. Athletes must:
- Attend all practices and games
- Arrange for transportation from GMS to home after practice or contests
- Be off school grounds 15 minutes after practice ends.
Drug Testing
Random drug testing takes place for seventh through twelfth graders participating
in athletics, performing arts, and any extra curricular activity. The drug
testing policy can be found in the school handbook and policies.
